CREW is a 15 month long college readiness program that guides students towards achieving their dreams of attending college. CREW is comprised of high school juniors and seniors attending college readiness classes on a monthly basis, teambuilding workshops, field trips, community service events and camps.
Throughout the CREW program students are competing for scholarship money to four year universities and community colleges. Students that receive college scholarships benefit from the ongoing support of Pathways staff while transitioning to college. This support has proven to help first generation college students excel academically and socially. CREW students often become college campus leaders due to the foundational skills learned prior to attending.
Through the mentorship and leadership of Pathways staff the CREW scholarship program boasts a 90 percent college retention rate. Pathways in Education historically has a strong partnership with California State University San Marcos and specifically with their Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). Through this partnership we have been able to remain aligned with our mission to support underserved youth.
